Some time clocks and older electrical circuits don’t like the initial surge created when multiple power supplies are turned on and off at the same time. Its only milliseconds, but the surge of current burns out the contacts.
This unique product is made specifically for use with our displays. This product protects the timer against the inrush surge created when being switched on or off. This may look like an ordinary timer, but its only the cover that’s ordinary. This has taken much development time and resources. Its not the cheapest of items and is not always required but a re-assuring item to resolve problems should they arise.
Please note the actual running of displays once illuminated uses very little energy and does not cost much to run like the historic halogen light technology.
